At CopAur, our strength comes from the people behind the vision. We’re a team of geologists, engineers, and mining professionals united by one goal: advancing high-quality gold projects with discipline and integrity. Each member brings deep technical expertise, proven experience, and a shared drive to unlock value, working together to move Kinsley Mountain confidently into its next phase.

Andrew is a mining executive with 35+ years of international experience from exploration through to engineering, construction, and operations. He has held senior leadership roles with Freeport-McMoRan, Hemco Nicaragua, Merdeka Copper & Gold, and other companies, overseeing major copper and gold projects across Asia and the Americas. Andrew holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Mineral Processing Engineering from the University of Alberta and a BSc from UBC.

Christopher Babcock brings over 40 years of mining experience in open pit heap and vat leach gold projects, specializing in the development, design, construction, and start-up of operations in the United States, Mexico, and internationally.

 

Mr. Babcock’s extensive expertise in heap leach facility design, mine restarts, and early-stage production provides CopAur with the operational leadership to advance its flagship Kinsley Mountain Oxide Gold Project toward potential near-term production.

Chief Operations Officer

Ms. Collins holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Association of British Columbia (CPA, CGA). She has over 14 years of experience in the public sector and is well versed in the financial reporting and compliance requirements of public companies.

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Downing has served as a Director and Corporate Secretary for numerous TSX and TSXV-listed companies, primarily within the mining sector, both nationally and internationally, for over 30 years.

Corporate Secretary

Mr. Swanson has 30 years experience raising capital, managing and advancing various projects in the public market. In 1991 he founded one of the first Internet companies in Vancouver, called Internet Direct, which was sold to Bell, in 1995. In 1998 Conrad was a founding member of Western Canadian coal, which was acquired by Walters Energy in 2010 for $2.2billion. In 2011 Conrad and his group of investors funded Richfield Ventures, which acquired the Black Water gold deposit in central BC and that property was sold to New Gold in 2012 for $550m. In 2003, he started Surge Copper . and raised more than $25m for exploration.

Mr. Sali is a capital markets executive and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in public and private company investing, corporate development, and M&A. He is President of Baccarat Investments Inc., a private investment firm providing strategic advisory and management services, and the Founder of Monumental Energy Corp.

 

He was a founding shareholder and corporate development lead of Advantage Lithium, acquired by Allkem (formerly Orocobre) in a $69 million transaction, and is the Founder, Director and former CEO of Defense Metals (TSXV: DEFN) and New Placer Dome Gold, the latter acquired by CopAur Minerals in 2022.

In Canada and Asia. He is on the Board of Directors for the Hong Kong Canada Business Association, and on the Advisory Board of Mines & Money in Hong Kong, Toronto, and London.

Director

Malcolm Dorsey, M.Sc., is an exploration structural geologist with experience advancing mineral projects from early stage discovery through feasibility across North, Central, and South America. He is President of Torr Metals and Senior Geologist for Metals Group and has worked with Benchmark Metals, Thesis Gold and Altiplano Metals. He holds an MSc in Geology from the University of Calgary, where his research focused on district scale controls on gold, silver and copper mineralization in British Columbia.

Gregory Stewart is a businessman and entrepreneur residing in Calgary, Alberta. As a Director for International Samuel he brings over 35 years of practical experience in the Canadian securities markets. As Chairman and President of 2 private and long established investment partnerships he has developed skills in strategic planning and analysis. Previous experience as a Director of a small publicly traded oil producer led to becoming Chairman and President of the company for a period of 3 years. Gregory has worked with many organizations demonstrating a commitment to excellence through exceptional communication skills.

Duane Nelson is a respected innovator and entrepreneur in the field of environmentally responsible metallurgy. He is the founder and CEO of Innovation Mining Inc., a company at the forefront of developing eco-friendly alternatives to traditional cyanide and smelting-based metal extraction methods. With a proven track record of advancing clean technologies in the mining sector, Mr. Nelson brings a forward-thinking approach to sustainable resource development. His expertise complements CopAur’s operational strategy, strengthening the Company’s commitment to responsible mining as it advances its oxide gold projects in Nevada.

Mr. Jackson has over 40 years of worldwide experience in mineral exploration and development. During his career he has been directly involved with the exploration drilling and pre-feasibility studies on two major gold deposits (Detour Lake, Ontario and Golden Cross in New Zealand) and one porphyry copper deposit (Huckleberry, B.C.), all of which subsequently became producers. His experience includes work as an Exploration Manager for Cyrpus Minerals Canada from 1989 to 1992 and serving as President and CEO/COO of Eurozinc Mining between 1999 to 2005, where he directed that company in its acquisition of the Alijustrel and Neves Corvo zinc and copper mines in Portugal. Eurozinc subsequently grew to a market cap of over $1.5 billion before merging with Lundin Mining. Currently, Mr. Jackson serves as Director and VP Exploration and Development of Freegold Ventures.

Chester Millar is a Canadian Mining Hall of Fame inductee and a pioneer of heap leach gold extraction—an innovation that revolutionized low-cost, high-margin gold production globally. He founded the Afton Mine and served as Chairman of Glamis Gold Ltd., transforming it into a North American industry leader prior to its US$8.2 billion acquisition by Goldcorp. Mr. Millar has also played key roles in the success of Eldorado Gold, Castle Gold, Glencairn Gold (now part of B2Gold), New Oroperu Resources, and Alamos Gold. Backed by a multi-generational team of oxide gold heap leach experts, Chester’s leadership is instrumental in advancing CopAur’s high-grade oxide gold assets in Nevada toward near-term production.
